Maryland – Self Storage Act Amended

Maryland has amended its Self-Service-Storage Act again. The Governor of Maryland signed into law an amendment to the Self-Storage Act, effective July 1, 2025.

The change to the Act will require a second notice sent to the Occupant, including the time, place and terms of the sale, at least Ten (10) days before conducing the sale. This is a new second notice requirement.
